What. A. Weekend.
Last week was one of those weeks that perfectly sums up what we do at The AfterParty. While weddings are a huge part of our calendar, we're proud to provide unforgettable entertainment for all kinds of celebrations, and this weekend proved exactly that.
Friday – A First Visit to Gate Street Barn
We kicked things off on Friday evening with our very first event at Gate Street Barn in Guildford.
It's always exciting to work at a new venue, and this one certainly didn't disappoint. We supplied one of our incredible live bands for the evening party, helping the newlyweds celebrate in style with a packed dancefloor from the first dance right through to the final song.
We're already looking forward to returning!
Saturday – Four Events in One Day!
Saturday was... busy!
With three weddings and a birthday party all happening on the same day, our team was spread across the country delivering unforgettable entertainment.
It's weekends like this that remind us just how lucky we are to have such an amazing roster of musicians, DJs and performers.
Ibiza Vibes at a Birthday Party
Not every weekend is just about weddings!
One of our teams headed to a fantastic birthday celebration featuring our ever-popular DJ & Sax combination. Think sunshine, Ibiza-inspired house music, feel-good R&B classics and live saxophone bringing every track to life.
The atmosphere was incredible and it's a great reminder that whether you're celebrating a milestone birthday, corporate event, private party or wedding, we can tailor the music to create exactly the vibe you're after.
Stone Barn Wedding
Another of our live bands headed to the beautiful Stone Barn for an evening reception.
From the first dance through to the final encore, it was everything a great wedding party should be—live music, full dancefloor and plenty of singalong moments.
Eastington Park – The Full Day Experience
One of our busiest teams spent the entire day at the stunning Eastington Park.
We provided entertainment from start to finish, including:
Ceremony music
Drinks reception entertainment
Live evening band
Evening DJ
This was an absolutely huge party with guests making the most of every moment. It's always rewarding when we get to help shape the soundtrack for an entire wedding day, rather than just the evening.
Garden Party at Shustoke Barn
Meanwhile, our fantastic acoustic vocalist Andy was creating the perfect relaxed atmosphere at a beautiful garden party wedding at Shustoke Barn.
Acoustic live music is ideal for outdoor celebrations, drinks receptions and laid-back wedding afternoons, and Andy delivered exactly the kind of soundtrack the day deserved.
Monday – Back to Cripps & Co
The celebrations didn't stop after the weekend.
On Monday, Marcello provided acoustic guitar and vocals throughout the daytime before one of our DJs took over for the evening party at Old Gore.
It rounded off what was a very Cripps & Co-heavy weekend, and we're certainly not complaining.
We've always loved working at venues like Stone Barn, Shustoke Barn and Old Gore. They're beautifully run, full of character, and always create the perfect setting for unforgettable celebrations.
