Behind the Scenes: Our Live Session of “Rein Me In” by Sam Fender & Olivia Dean

For the past two months, we’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on something really special — and we’re finally ready to share it.
We’ve created a brand-new live session covering “Rein Me In” by Sam Fender and Olivia Dean, performed by our full 7-piece band, and honestly… we couldn’t be prouder of how it’s turned out.
This project has been a huge labour of love from start to finish.
And this is just the beginning — alongside this live session, we’ve also been creating brand-new showreels which will be dropping very soon too.
Built Properly From the Ground Up
We didn’t want this to feel like another quick live cover recorded on a phone camera.
From day one, the goal was to create something that genuinely represented who we are as musicians and performers.
The process started at Sound Shack Studios, where we tracked every instrument individually from the ground up.
Real drums. Real Sax. Real vocals. Real musicians playing together.
No shortcuts.
Every layer of the arrangement was carefully built and recorded properly to make sure the final performance sounded as big, emotional and dynamic as the song deserved.
More Than Just a Cover
One of the things we loved most about this track is the emotion and space within the original version.
We wanted to stay true to that feeling while also making it sound like The AfterParty.
That meant spending a huge amount of time on arrangement, production and energy and feel.
With a 7-piece band, there are so many moving parts, and making everything feel natural while still sounding massive takes a lot of work behind the scenes.
Every single detail mattered to us.
The Visuals Had To Match The Sound
As important as the music was, we knew the visuals had to hit just as hard.
A massive amount of effort went into the filming side of this project — from lighting and shot planning through to editing and colour grading.
We wanted the final video to feel cinematic, intimate and powerful all at once.
Not just a performance video… but something immersive.
Something that captures the energy of the band properly.
A Huge Step Forward For Us
This project feels like a real milestone for us creatively.
Over the last couple of months we’ve pushed ourselves hard — not just musically, but across production, filming and the overall vision behind the band.
The upcoming showreels are a huge part of that too, and we genuinely can’t wait to share them with you SO soon.
