What a weekend it was for the Afterparty team! As the wedding season continues at full pace, last weekend saw us performing at three incredible weddings across some of the South West's most beautiful venues. From elegant barn weddings and stunning marquee celebrations to one of Gloucestershire's most sought-after wedding venues, every event brought its own unique atmosphere, unforgettable moments and, of course, some seriously full dance floors.
Friday Night Magic at The Great Tythe Barn with Our DJ & Sax Combo
We kicked off the weekend at the beautiful Great Tythe Barn, where our popular DJ & Saxophone package created the perfect soundtrack to an incredible evening celebration.
There's something special about combining a professional wedding DJ with a live saxophonist. The DJ keeps the energy flowing seamlessly from one song to the next, while the live sax adds an exciting performance element that completely transforms the atmosphere. Saturday was another busy day with two fantastic bands performing at separate weddings, each delivering something completely different but equally memorable.
All-Day Entertainment at Wonwood Barton
Our first team headed to a beautiful marquee wedding at Wonwood Barton, providing live music throughout the entire day.
From the emotional ceremony right through to the final song of the evening, we were proud to be part of every chapter of the couple's wedding day.
The ceremony featured beautiful live performances that created a truly personal and memorable atmosphere as guests watched the couple exchange their vows. Following the ceremony, the music continued during the drinks reception, helping guests relax, celebrate and enjoy the stunning surroundings while creating the perfect soundtrack for photographs and conversations.
As the day progressed into the wedding breakfast, carefully selected live music maintained a warm and elegant atmosphere before everything shifted up a gear for the evening reception.
Once the evening guests had arrived, it was time to transform the marquee into one huge party. The band filled the dance floor with an energetic mix of modern hits, timeless classics and crowd favourites, ensuring every generation had a reason to get involved.
