Seven Weddings in Five Days – A Week to Remember for The AfterParty

If there was ever a week that summed up what wedding season is all about, this was it. Over five days, The AfterParty had the privilege of performing at seven incredible weddings across some of the UK's most beautiful venues, delivering everything from intimate acoustic ceremonies to packed dance floors, roaming saxophone sets and late-night PRO DJ parties.

Every wedding was completely unique, but they all had one thing in common – amazing couples ready to celebrate in style.

Wednesday – Twilight Celebrations at Coton House Farm

We kicked off the week with a beautiful twilight wedding at Coton House Farm. Twilight weddings create such a relaxed atmosphere, allowing guests to arrive ready to celebrate before we took over the evening entertainment.

The dance floor was full from the very first song, proving once again why twilight weddings are becoming one of our favourite styles of celebration.

Thursday – Back at Aswarby Rectory

It's always a pleasure returning to Aswarby Rectory, one of our favourite wedding venues.

This was a full-day booking, beginning with an acoustic performance for the outdoor ceremony before providing live music throughout the day. As the sun went down, we transformed into our full party band and helped create an unforgettable evening packed with dancing and singalongs.

There's something incredibly special about being part of a couple's entire wedding day, from those emotional ceremony moments right through to the last song of the night.

Saturday – Two Weddings, Two Huge Parties

Saturday saw two completely different celebrations.

No.131, Cheltenham

Our first event took us to the stylish No.131 in Cheltenham, where the couple chose one of our most popular entertainment combinations.

We began outside with our high-energy Sax Power Set, creating an incredible atmosphere as guests enjoyed drinks before the evening celebrations. Once inside, the full band took over, joined by live saxophone to create an electric party that had everyone on the dance floor from start to finish.

Chalk

Meanwhile, another AfterParty team headed to Chalk for a full-day wedding celebration.

After providing live music throughout the day, the evening finished with our PRO DJ package, keeping the party going well into the early hours. It's the perfect option for couples who simply don't want the night to end.

Sunday – Three Weddings Across Three Stunning Venues

Sunday was one of our busiest days of the season, with three teams performing simultaneously.

Hyde House

At the beautiful Hyde House, we provided music from start to finish.

The day began with an acoustic ceremony before moving into the drinks reception and cocktail hour, creating the perfect soundtrack while guests relaxed and celebrated. Once the evening arrived, our PRO DJ took over, keeping the energy high long after the live music had finished.

Stone Barn

Another team returned to one of our absolute favourite venues, Stone Barn.

This full-day wedding was everything we love about weddings at Stone Barn – stunning surroundings, an incredible atmosphere and a packed dance floor from the first dance onwards. It's always a venue we're excited to return to.

Old Gore

Our final wedding of the weekend took place at the ever-popular Old Gore.

The couple chose one of our biggest entertainment packages, with live music throughout the day, our full party band, PRO DJ, and live saxophone bringing the evening to life. Combining the band, DJ and saxophone creates an unforgettable festival-style atmosphere, ensuring the dance floor stays full right until the very end of the night.
