Five Weddings, Three Days and a Lot of Dancefloors

One of the things we love most about weddings is that no two weekends are ever quite the same.

On paper, this past weekend looked straightforward enough: five events across three days. In reality, it meant multiple bands, DJs, saxophonists, sound systems, early starts, late finishes and a lot of miles covered across the country.

Thursday kicked things off at the stunning Sandy Cove in Ilfracombe. Our full band took care of the evening celebrations, with the addition of a live saxophonist bringing an extra layer of energy to the dancefloor. Coastal views by day, packed dancefloor by night – a great way to start the weekend.

Friday was one of those days where teamwork really comes into its own.

The first team headed to Ivy Lodge, a venue we've had the pleasure of working at many times over the years. We provided full-day entertainment right through to the evening party, complete with our PRO DJ upgrade to keep the celebrations flowing seamlessly from live music into late-night dancing.

At the same time, another AfterParty team was setting up at Whistle Barns for a full day and evening of entertainment. While guests enjoyed the wedding celebrations, our musicians, DJs and event crew worked behind the scenes to ensure every part of the day connected perfectly.

By Saturday, most people might have been slowing down. We were just getting started!

The day began in Oxfordshire, where we provided full-day entertainment for a wedding held in a private estate marquee. Alongside live music throughout the celebrations, the couple chose our increasingly popular DJ & Sax package, combining the flexibility of a DJ with the live energy that only a saxophonist can bring.

Then it was a quick turnaround before another band headed to Lower House Farm for an evening party. With our PRO DJ upgrade included, the live band handed over seamlessly to the DJ to keep the dancefloor busy long after the final encore.

What weekends like this remind us is just how much happens behind the scenes. While guests see the finished performance, there's a huge amount of planning, coordination and teamwork that goes into delivering multiple weddings simultaneously across different venues.

Five events. Five incredible venues. Three days. Countless songs played.

And we'd happily do it all again next weekend.
