The Afterparty at Askham Hall

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of providing the soundtrack for a beautiful wedding at Askham Hall — one of the most stunning wedding venues in the Lake District.
From relaxed daytime vibes through to a packed evening dancefloor, our team were there for the full day delivering seamless live entertainment from start to finish.
The day began with our acoustic guitar and saxophone duo performing during the drinks reception, creating the perfect laid-back atmosphere for guests arriving and settling into the celebrations. Live acoustic music is always a great way to set the tone early in the day, and the combination of guitar and sax worked perfectly within the beautiful surroundings of Askham Hall.
Following the ceremony, our roaming saxophonist took over, moving through the crowd and interacting with guests while performing upbeat Ibiza-style classics and feel-good favourites. Roaming sax is always a huge hit at weddings, and this one was no exception — it brought loads of energy to the afternoon and kept the atmosphere buzzing between the ceremony and wedding breakfast.
For the evening reception, our full 6-piece wedding band took to the stage and kept the dancefloor full all night long. With a setlist packed with floor-fillers, singalongs, and modern party anthems, guests of all ages got involved from the very first song right through to the final encore.
One thing we pride ourselves on at The Afterparty is flexibility.
Every wedding runs slightly differently, and throughout the day we worked closely with the couple and venue team to adapt timings, coordinate transitions, and make sure everything flowed smoothly. From setup logistics to last-minute adjustments, our team always aim to make the entertainment side of the day completely stress-free.
Being reliable, professional, and easy to work with is just as important to us as putting on an incredible performance. Weddings are once-in-a-lifetime events, and we know how important it is for couples to feel confident that everything is taken care of.
