Three Weddings, Three Completely Different Parties

One of the things we love most about weddings is that no two celebrations are ever the same.

On paper, last weekend looked straightforward enough: three weddings, three stunning venues, plenty of live music. But once the guests arrived, the drinks started flowing and the dancefloors filled up, each celebration developed its own personality.

From Acoustic Ceremony to Full Evening Party at Whistle Barns

Friday saw us taking over Whistle Barns for a full day of entertainment, starting with live acoustic music during the daytime before transforming into a full five-piece party band for the evening celebrations.

There's something special about being part of an entire wedding day. We get to see the atmosphere evolve from those emotional ceremony moments through relaxed drinks receptions and into the full-blown party that everyone has been waiting for.

As the evening arrived, the energy shifted gears completely. The dancefloor quickly became the place to be, with guests determined to make the most of the celebrations and help the newlyweds start married life in style.

A Double Header Saturday

Saturday was one of those days that reminds us how much planning, preparation and teamwork goes into what we do.

With two bands performing at two different weddings, our team headed in separate directions across the Cotswolds and beyond.

Full Day Celebrations at Marston House

Our first band spent the day at Marston House, providing entertainment from the daytime celebrations right through to the evening party.

For the night-time celebrations, we were joined by one of our favourite additions to any wedding party – a live saxophonist. There's a reason sax and live bands work so well together. The combination creates a festival-style atmosphere that instantly lifts the energy in the room and keeps guests glued to the dancefloor.

The result? A packed dancefloor, plenty of singalongs and the kind of atmosphere every couple hopes for when planning their wedding entertainment.

An Intimate Celebration at The Porch House

Meanwhile, our second band headed to The Porch House in Stow-on-the-Wold.

As one of the most characterful venues in the region, it provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding that felt warm, personal and full of atmosphere. These are the weddings where live music really shines, creating those shared moments between family and friends that people remember long after the final song has finished.

From the first dance through to the final encore, guests brought incredible energy and helped create another memorable evening.

The Best Part? Seeing Every Wedding Take on a Life of Its Own

What stood out most from last weekend wasn't the venues, the logistics or even the music.

It was how different every crowd was.

Some weddings begin with guests straight onto the dancefloor from the first song. Others build gradually throughout the evening before exploding into life for the final hour. Some are packed with classic singalong moments, while others lean heavily into floor-filling party anthems.

That's what keeps every weekend exciting for us. We might bring the same level of energy, musicianship and experience to every event, but every wedding writes its own story.

Congratulations to all three couples who trusted us to be part of their celebrations. We loved every minute and can't wait to do it all again next weekend.
